Film Making: 11-16 years

Step into the exciting world of film-making and bring your stories to life! This hands-on course covers the fundamentals of movie-making, from script to screen.
🎬 Learn the essentials:
✏ Storyboarding & scriptwriting – Plan your scenes like a pro
💡 Lighting & sound – Create the perfect atmosphere
🎥 Directing & filming – Bring your vision to life behind the camera
🖥 Editing – Cut, refine, and polish your final film
Students will work in small film crews, rotating through different roles to gain a complete film-making experience. At the end of the course, each student will receive a copy of their film on a flash drive to take home! (In case of technical issues, flash drives will be delivered after the course.)
Everything is provided—just bring your creativity! Lights, camera, action—let’s make a movie!
Tutor: Bryn Rolton
Bryn Rolton Graduated from Kent University with a degree in Drama & Film. He has a passion for making and analysing film and enjoys every aspect of the craft from constructing a story board through to editing the final cut. Bryn has considerable experience of running Film workshops for teenagers and enjoys sharing his knowledge with his students.
